First Parliament session will be held in under 2 weeks

As some micronationalists may know, we have planned our parliament and is nearly ready for activity. Not all 14 seats have yet been filled but the first has been planned to take place on Skype some time within the next format. All members of the Liberal Party which also wish to hold seats are expected to attend this meeting including the President and the Vice President. Each state has it’s own seat, with extra seats for the Far East of Surrey and the capital (Crawley). More information is expected soon.

National Team almost ready for match

The Rukoran National Football Team are almost ready for the match against the Republic of Wyke. The players have been selected and told the conditions and rules for the match. All that has to happen now before the team can go to Hull for the match are for their Visa’s to be passed by the British Embassy and then they will be ready. If all goes to plan, Rukora will play Wyke at the KC Stadium training pitch. The match is due to be played soon.

Team to go to 2013 MFA World Cup under consideration

The Government of Rukora are now looking into who will represent Rukora at the 2013 MFA World Cup and how many players from the squad to play Wyke might return for the world cup. There are many options for Rukora’s team and by 2013, these options will be open even further. The team to play Wyke will almost certainly provide some of the players, along with others who are interested and are good enough to play. More information will arrive soon on the world cup.

A new shop and a bit more information

Today, it has been revealed that a new shop is on the way for Rukora. This one is being based on a new website with many more features including many more products to sell. The old shop is going to stay open but will no longer be the official shop for Rukora but will instead become the Group B Gift Shop when the new ‘Turning Point’ economic model is introduced and until then will be called the ‘unofficial’ gift shop. Now, as many other leaders already know, there has been a Facebook based publicity campaign in Rukora for new citizens and, to a degree, has worked a bit. If you are one of the people who have noticed this publicity campaign, here is some more information for you:

Rukora is a new country that was formed on the 22nd September 2009. It was created to be a place where people could be who they want to be and think what they want to think, without pressure from others to try and convert them to thinking differently. We are a civilized country but still a free country (much freer than England will ever be). We also treat everyone the same as each other regardless of what differences they may have. And again, you are free to ask any questions you may want to ask.
